Korean Hyundai Steel buys Japanese scraps

Currently, the Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel purchased H2 scraps and Shindachi scraps from Japan with prices of ¥32,500/ton FOB and ¥36,500/ton FOB respectively for October delivery.

It's learned the company's current purchasing prices of the Japanese H2 scrap increased by ¥500/ton from a week ago.

Meanwhile, the Japanese traders' H2 scrap export quotes are at ¥34,500/ton FOB recently.
